Unified Messenger® for Microsoft® Exchange

Announcements can be customised within Unified Messenger by simply importing supplied files. All administration is performed using the Unified Messenger Terminal. Files will be supplied in a format compatible with Unified Messenger and the importing process is described below.

Open the Voice Mail System Configuration application.

Before importing a WAV file, save it in the audio format that you are using.

1. From Edit menu, choose Insert command to insert a new prompt. Alternatively, select the prompt you want to replace with
the imported recording.

2. From the File menu, choose the Import command.

3. Locate the WAV file you want to import using the standard Windows Open dialog box.

4. Click OK.

The current prompt is replaced with the contents of the WAV file.

Note: Importing a recording applies to the complete prompt only. If the Waveform view is active and a range is selected, the
range is ignored.
